Farmers Hen House is a family owned company, established 1997 by Eldon T. Miller and nowadays Ryan Miller (grandson) is president and co-owner. Farmers Hen House started with 3 farms and has grown to over 50 farms at the moment, all farms are organic farms.

Forsman Farms began in 1918 with Albert Forsman farming 120 acres and selling chicks from his flock. 41 years later, Albert’s son Norman took over the family farm and with 1,300 chickens decided to sell eggs to local vendors and restaurants. While Norman cared for the chickens, his wife Mae gathered and cleaned the eggs every day.

The founding family Reinhard has been practicing Bio-KAG agriculture for decades. In 1996 they founded the company in Rüti in the canton of Zurich. Their goal back then? To market organic eggs and egg products and to offer organic farmers an additional income who, for company-specific reasons, cannot set up direct marketing. In addition, more people should have access to organic products.
