With HCS ProLife®, Giordano introduces the world’s first and only system that gives chicks immediate access to fresh drinking water and feed – right inside the incubator and during road transport. The smart design lets water flow smoothly through the crates in a way similar to how a marble moves through a track. Internal drinking gutters distribute the water, while feed and water are both accessible from two sides of the tray, ensuring optimal access for every chick.

The water gutters are designed in such a way that chicks cannot possibly sit on top of them. This could lead to serious contamination of the water. Before the water flows through the gutters, it is stopped by a small upstand. This means that there is always water in the gutters before the water can flow through. The water then flows through a gutter mounted on the side to the crate below.
