Regional Sales Manager – East & Southern Africa

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead and expand our sales operations in East and Southern Africa. This role is crucial for driving revenue growth and establishing strong relationships with key clients in the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the poultry industry, proven sales experience, and excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the East and South African poultry market
• Manage and support existing customer relationships as well as dealers & distributers
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
• Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals
• Provide technical support and training to customers on Giordano products
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and achieve company objectives
• Represent Giordano at industry events and trade shows
• Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management
• Manage sales budget and expenses effectively
• Travel within the East and Southern Africa region as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5-7 years of commercial work experience
• Experience of poultry sector is a must
• Strong communication skills verbal and written
• Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential
