Cleaning Advice
We advise our customers to thoroughly clean all parts of the EggsCargoSystem® immediately after use.
Washing instructions
1. Efficient, effective cleaning and disinfection procedures ensure that dividers, trays and pallets are clean and free of contaminants and ensure products meet the required safety and quality requirements. Cleaning procedures must address cross contamination with allergens, as well as microbiological safety and quality.
Cleaning and disinfection procedures should be optimised for each application and reviewed following changes in product and process design. These procedures must be validated, reviewed regularly and adequately monitored.
2. Water used for cleaning should be potable, in line with Council Directive 98/83/EC on quality of water for human consumption or WHO regulations. Water hardness should be controlled and preferable of soft to medium water hardness. (<5°GH/8°FH/60ppmCaCO3). If hard water is used, the washer should be descaled on a regular base.
3. Dividers, trays and pallets should be washed directly after usage to avoid soil accumulation or drying of residues. In case of a heavy load or dried residues, pre-soaking in a bath can be applied with a pre-soaking detergent.
4. The washing machine should be emptied and cleaned daily. Debris should be removed, filters cleaned and nozzles inspected.

All updated Safety Data Sheets (SDS) can be found on your specific country website at https://sds.diversey.com/ The alpha-numeric is a global product categorization. They identify the unique global formulation. The product name may vary following translation into local languages. The alpha-numeric code identifies the chemical group, as explained below:
| VA | CIP acids |
| VB | Additives |
| VC | CIP caustics |
| VE | Enduro range for OPC |
| VF | Foam products |
| VG | Gel products for OPC |
| VK | Manual cleaners |
| VL | Track treatment products |
| VS | Combined cleaners / disinfectants |
| VT | Terminal disinfectants |
Example: “Diversey Cipton VC11L”
Where ‘L’ appears at the end of an alpha-numeric this indicates that a formulation has been adapted to meet local regulatory requirements.
Product recommendation will depend on several important parameters, such as water hardness, local regulatory requirements, effluent restrictions, local or regional restrictions in certain raw materials, cleaning effect on specific mix ingredients, economical balance, average storage temperatures or product availability.
