Giordano’s Business Unit Asia Pacific was established to bring both our sales team as well as production closer to our customers. Our production facility in Penang (Malaysia) supplies our Asian customers and those in Oceania. Asia, in general, has the largest population of laying hens and ducks in the world, which is why Giordano considers it very important to produce close to its customers. We do this not just to shorten our delivery times, but also to reduce the high costs of sea freight and to allow our customers to benefit from the more favourable import conditions that apply to the ASEAN countries. The quality and uniformity of our production in Malaysia is a 100% match of productions elsewhere in the world. From a legal and administrative point of view our Business Unit is connected to our office in The Netherlands.
