Innovation and new projects from the R&D and Certification Department
The R&D Department continues to innovate with new concepts and prototypes, production is increasing across the various international sites, and a new TÜV Rheinland certification is on its way for Plastimark.

The Research & Development office is currently engaged on several fronts, with new ideas and projects under evaluation and development.
Among the proposals now in progress are the HT42 project, a new egg tray designed specifically for hatcheries, and the Pallet-Divider, an innovative pallet for egg transportation whose upper surface features the same pattern as the divider.
Activities related to mould production and testing are also progressing successfully:
• The Ripet moulds have been successfully tested in Italy.
• All partridge cage moulds have been completed and delivered to Italy.
• In Mexico, the moulds for the new HURAKAN cage are in regular production.
A set of three moulds for a French distributor of Giordano Global is expected to arrive shortly, intended for the production of a new pigeon cage.
In parallel, the first mould trial for the 130-litre Luma trolley by Plastimark has been carried out, and the process for obtaining TÜV Rheinland certification is currently underway.
Lastly, a new 3D printer is on its way for the Technical Office, an important step forward that will enhance rapid prototyping and component production. This is expected to be the first of a series of tools dedicated to supporting the ongoing innovation of Giordano Holding.
