It is with profound sadness that Giordano Global mourns the passing of Edward Bassili, a remarkable entrepreneur, visionary, and cherished friend of the Giordano family.
Edward was already a respected businessman long before our paths crossed, having successfully built his own import and export company in Egypt through passion, determination, and an unwavering entrepreneurial spirit.
The chapter that brought our families even closer—and one that would leave a lasting mark on both our histories—was the creation of Eddygypt Giordano Poultry Plast. Together with Osvaldo Giordano, Edward transformed a business relationship into a true partnership, founded on mutual trust, shared values, and a common vision. What began as a collaboration soon evolved into a lifelong friendship between two families.

Edward’s legacy lives on through the people who continue the work he began. Today, his daughter Sherine Bassili and his granddaughter Christine Maurice, together with the entire Eddygypt Giordano Poultry Plast team, proudly carry forward his vision. With the same passion, integrity, and commitment that defined Edward, they continue to strengthen the company and build a bright and successful future while honoring his name every day.
